Well, I guess it has been a while since I have updated this.
It has been a busy month!
We are moving on Friday! We have so much to do. Adam got the keys to our house this morning. For those of you who don't know, we have finally gotten a house on base. We got a 3 bedroom, which is good since we are expecting another little one! I am 7 weeks pregnant, and I have my first pre-natal on May 17th.
This next month is going to be quite busy as well. We have so many appointments along with unpacking. Adam goes up for his 5 level review... and it is just going to be nuts! I will be very happy once we have the house unpacked and we are settled. At least we know we will be in this place for more than a year. I am sick of living in a place for 6 months and then moving... But that is the military life!
We have pretty much everything we need for the new house. We bought a washer and dryer last week. They should be delivered on Monday! Adam says we are getting a fence. Which is good, since we have a little girl who likes to run!!! We are getting it for only $50. He has a friends whose enlistment is up and he is moving out, so we are buying huis fence from him! It is just a chain link fence. I would prefer a privacy fence, but with Mack, anything will do!!! The only thing we need to worry about now are rugs. We bought one for Mackenzie's room, which was our main priority. The floors in the house are all linoleum type crap! I am so afraid of Mackenzie falling and getting hurt. She is a tough little girl, but still.... So, we have a rug to go right under her bed, just in case she falls off.
She has been doing incredible in her toddler bed. She loves it. We have had 1 or 2 night where she has cried, but that happened even before we moved her from the crib. Her transition was great. It didn't even seem to bother her. I hope the next one does just as well.
Well, I have lots to do. Papers to shred, clothes to wash, dry, and fold, bathrooms to clean...... BLAH! |
